Useful Resources for Dog Parents

As a dog parent I want my dog to be sweet and calm rather than aggressive and feisty. My puppy loves to play tug of war but I often worry that this will encourage aggression and make her think its okay. The puppy nipping and biting phase can get really annoying and frustrating because all we want is to cuddle our fur babies without getting bit or play with them without getting our hands attacked. Potty training can be very frustrating and harder for some dogs than others but its all about the consistency. Some things that I have learned while potty training my dog: - Keep your dog crated when you are not around or when you cannot supervise them. If you don't want to crate them, tie his/her leash to you while you are at home. This will prevent any accidents around the house.  - Never rub their nose in a potty accident. I love to keep my puppy busy and enhance her development by giving her mental and physical activities everyday. A snuffle mat is a great way to work on their senses especially their smelling sense.
